Design that turns interest into customers · English · Español

I help businesses look professional, build trust and attract more customers.

I create custom websites, brand identities and design pieces that make your business clearer, more memorable and easier to choose. I work in English and Spanish — in person in Hobbs, NM and remotely with clients across the US and Mexico.

Real work, for real businesses

Case studies

Five real projects, told start to finish: the problem, what I built and the result. Software, brand, stores and sites — for businesses that actually use them.

María Bonita — Scheduling App

Not everything is design. When a client has an operations problem, I solve it with code. I built the restaurant an app to arrange its 64 employees across rotating shifts: it runs on a phone and works with no internet.

María Bonita Mexican Grill CASE-001

The problem

64 employees and shifts that rotate every week. The manager built it all in Excel, cell by cell — an hour every week — and still had to split it area by area.

My role

Design and development, start to finish. Just me.

Process

I started from the real case: almost everyone stays the same and only a few change. I saved each employee with the positions they can cover, so when someone is replaced the app only offers the people who can actually cover that position.

The solution

An app that works with no internet: the data lives in the browser itself, so it needs no hosting or install. You add, edit and remove employees; you save the fixed baseline and each week you only move whoever changes. It marks the shift lead, counts rest days on its own, and exports each day as an image to send to the WhatsApp groups.

Results

1 hour 5 minutes of setup, every week
  • No errors, no Excel and no depending on a single person.
  • Zero hosting cost — the app lives in the browser.
  • Sent straight to the WhatsApp groups, in order.

"It used to take me hours to build the schedules in Excel. Now I do it in minutes and with no mistakes."

Brand & Shopify Store

Chill Monkey — Premium streetwear

A streetwear brand that didn't exist: no logo, no store, no identity. I built it complete, from idea to sale — original art, brand and a hand-coded Shopify store.

Chill Monkey CASE-002

The challenge

Launch a premium streetwear brand from scratch and sell it online. No clichés: its own identity, original art and a store that feels expensive — without being it.

My role

Everything, start to finish: brand identity, product art, the hand-coded Shopify store and the social content.

Process

I defined the brand — streetwear with character, original art instead of generic prints. From there came the logo (gold on black), the collection art and a visual system that repeats the same across store, product and social.

The solution

A Shopify store with the theme coded from scratch, no templates — checkout built to the brand's measure. Product, image and social share the same identity, so people recognize Chill Monkey anywhere.

Results

Live · selling chillmonkey.shop — a complete brand, from idea to sale
  • Shopify theme coded by hand, no templates or page builders.
  • One single identity across store, product and social.
  • 100% original art — no generic prints.

Long-term brand

María Bonita — One brand, every detail

The client I've worked with for over 4 years. It started with one piece, and today its whole presence — site, QR menu, gift cards, labels and social — speaks the same visual language.

María Bonita Mexican Grill CASE-003

The challenge

A restaurant with many fronts — menu, drinks, bottled salsas, gift cards, social — and each piece, made on its own, looked different. It needed to look like a single brand everywhere.

My role

Design of the brand and every piece, plus the site development. The relationship is 4+ years and counting.

Process

I started from the logo and a visual system, and brought it down to every touchpoint: the site, the QR menu, the gift cards, the salsa labels and the posts. Each piece reinforces the next.

The solution

A consistent identity end to end. The menu carries a QR that connects paper to social; the gift cards bring in new customers; the site and the salsas share the same face. And because it's built to be edited, the client updates promotions without reprinting everything.

Results

4+ years one client, one single brand at every touchpoint

Google Search Console — the site shows up on Google for "maría bonita" and "maría bonita hobbs nm".

  • Site, QR menu, gift cards, labels and social under one identity.
  • Every piece with a QR connecting paper to social.
  • The client updates promotions without reprinting the whole menu.

"We've been with Jesús for more than 4 years. Site, menus, labels and social — it all looks like one single brand."

Brand + Site + Social

Arcos — A brand you trust

In remodeling, people let you into their home — that's why trust is everything. I built Arcos an even brand end to end: logo, cards, social and a site that says "we're serious."

Arcos Painting & Remodeling CASE-004

The challenge

A contractor wins the job on trust. Competing against someone who just leaves a number on a scrap of paper, Arcos needed to look established and hireable from the first contact.

My role

Complete brand identity, business cards, social content and the site development.

Process

I started from a logo with two versions —one for light backgrounds and one in reverse— and brought the same identity down to the card, social and site, so it all looks like one company.

The solution

A consistent brand at every touchpoint: the card they hand you, the social where people look them up, and a professional site with clear services. It all points to the same thing: they look serious and trustworthy.

Results

Complete brand · live logo, cards, social and site under one identity
  • Logo in two versions, ready for any background or material.
  • The same image on card, social and website.
  • A presence that competes with much bigger companies.

Who does the work

About me

I started out building apps for iPhone and Android. That taught me that a beautiful design that loads slowly is a failure — and an expensive one.

That's why, when I build a website, I code it myself, clean. No templates, no plugins that slow it down. The result: it loads in under 3 seconds, shows up on Google and converts.

My best metric isn't how many projects I've done — it's that my clients stay.

María Bonita, 4+ years with me. Chill Monkey, selling online. Arcos, going toe to toe with much bigger companies.

That doesn't happen when the work is just aesthetics. It happens when design is a tool that works.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a website cost?

Website projects start at $699 for a single-page landing page. A full multi-page site with a contact form and basic SEO so you show up on Google is quoted by scope. The final price is set after our first conversation.

Why is it worth unifying design and development with the same person?

For consistency and savings. If your website promises high quality but your business cards or product labels look cheap or improvised, you break customer trust and lose the sale. By centralizing everything, you ensure every physical or digital brand touchpoint adds credibility and lets you charge what your work is really worth.

Can I hire just one piece independently (like only the logo or the cards)?

Totally. Every service is broken down and quoted independently. You can start by solving your most urgent digital or print need, and as your business grows and generates returns, integrate the rest of the brand components.

Do you work with remote clients?

Yes. I work remotely with clients from any US state and Mexico, in English or Spanish — the whole process can run over video calls and WhatsApp. In person, I serve Hobbs and the entire Permian Basin (Lovington, Carlsbad, Midland, Odessa).

Why code clean instead of using WordPress or Wix templates?

Because load speed is money. Visual builders load dozens of useless plugins and bloated code that slows your site; if it takes more than 3 seconds to open, you can lose more than 40% of your visits. Building with clean code ensures it loads in milliseconds, is far more secure against the malware and attacks that plague WordPress, and ranks much stronger in Google.

What is the process to start?

Text me on WhatsApp or email telling me your type of business and objective. We schedule a brief call to define deliverables, and I send you a detailed formal proposal to start the project.

Can I change something after it's live?

Yes. You have full access to your site: simple changes (a text, a photo) you make yourself. And if you'd rather I do it, it's an editing session ($99 per 1-hour session).

What's the typical timeline for a website?

4 to 6 weeks of development. But it all depends on you: the faster you define text, images and details, the faster I launch. Some clients prefer slow and steady; others, fast and solid.

Do you guarantee I'll sell more?

I don't promise magic. I guarantee a clean, fast site optimized so people find you on Google. If your product is good and competitive, the site does its job. If no one knows you exist, not even the best site brings customers out of thin air.

My business is very small or new. Is it worth investing now?

Most of my clients started small. Design isn't a luxury for later: it's the accelerator that takes you from "no one knows who I am" to a reference in your field in months, not years.

Do you work with large companies or only small businesses?

I prefer clients where every dollar invested changes the outcome. If you have 500+ employees, you probably need a larger agency. My niche: businesses doing $100k to $10M in annual revenue, where design still moves the metrics.
